A GLIMPSE BEYOND THE PAGE

The images I share throughout this site are not portraits of the characters themselves. They are echoes—glimpses of the people I see when I close my eyes and step into the world of the Kodiak.

When I write, I do not simply watch that world from afar. I enter it. Its paths unfold beneath my feet, its shadows gather around me, and its people begin to breathe. Their stories take form until they feel real in a way that is difficult to explain—and impossible to ignore.

I feel Asha’s pain. I carry the weight of Torr’s burdens. I listen for the hard-won wisdom in Maeve’s lessons, and I know the fear that moves through so many others. Around them, the world gathers itself: stone by stone, storm by storm, secret by secret.

As that world continues to come into focus, I want to share one of my earliest visions with you. I spent hours shaping these images with AI, searching for something that could come close to what lived so clearly in my mind. They are not exact. Perhaps no image ever could be. But they carry a spark of the world I have seen.

And now, I wonder what you will see when you cross the threshold.

As you read, which faces will rise in your imagination? Whose story will follow you after the final page? Which character will feel, for a time, as though they have walked beside you?

Share your vision in the comments, or send me an email. I would truly love to know what the world of the Kodiak becomes in your eyes.
